Shop Policy

We document every project from start to finish, and aim to establish clear expectations while fostering a professional, collaborative experience through every stage of the process. Transparency and communication are fundamental to every build’s success.

The following policies outline how projects are estimated, scheduled, documented, and billed. They exist to ensure every project progresses efficiently while maintaining the integrity that defines Arc Rider Autowerks

Estimates

  • Performance automotive projects vary in scope, and estimates are based on the anticipated work required. Common projects and swaps can typically be estimated with a high degree of accuracy, however unforeseen issues discovered after disassembly may require revisions.

  • Aftermarket parts are sourced through trusted vendors who provide consistent quality and reliable delivery times. We do not price shop parts.

  • Customers are welcome to supply their own parts, provided they are from brands we know and trust. All major parts and components must be on hand before the scheduled drop-off date.

  • Once a project begins, all additional parts sourcing will be handled by us to maintain project quality, scheduling, and efficiency.

Invoicing

  • Standard projects are invoiced at predetermined milestones outlined in the project summary.

  • Before work begins on each project milestone, a deposit equal to 100% of the estimated parts cost and 20% of the estimated labor cost for that milestone is required.

  • One-off custom projects (UFOs) are invoiced bi-weekly on a time-and-material basis at the current shop labor rate of $115.00 per hour.

  • Invoices are due upon receipt. Projects with invoices outstanding for more than seven days will be paused until the account is brought current, after which they will resume according to current shop scheduling.

  • All invoices must be paid in full before vehicles or parts are released.

Timelines

  • Our projects are completed to a standard, not to a deadline. Every vehicle receives the time and attention necessary to ensure the finished product meets our expectations, and yours.

  • Project completion schedules are based on the anticipated scope of work. Common projects and swaps can generally be anticipated with a high degree of accuracy, however unforeseen issues discovered during the build may affect completion schedules.

  • As the preceding project nears completion, we will contact you to schedule your vehicle drop-off.

  • If your scheduled drop-off appointment is missed without prior notice, the project will move back one position in the queue. Missing two consecutive drop-off appointments will result in forfeiture of the project's place in the queue and the deposit.

  • As your project nears completion, we will contact you to arrange vehicle pickup. Vehicles not picked up within seven days of project completion will be moved to outside storage at a rate of $8.50 per day.

The Process

  • Project photographs are taken daily and uploaded weekly to a dedicated project folder. This folder serves as the central location for project documentation and progress updates.

  • To ensure uninterrupted workflow, all shop visits must be scheduled in advance. Walk-in visits are not available.

  • All removed components and take-off parts should be picked up when the vehicle is collected. Parts remaining more than seven days after project completion will be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of.

Every project is an extension of our reputation. We believe quality is built through integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job correctly.

Thank you for placing your trust in us. We look forward to building something exceptional together.
